The purpose of this position is to manage the daily activities of the mobile unit, assist in engineering training, and provide the normal maintenance activities required for a mobile unit to meet client requirements and operate up to LMGH standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering management to plan, coordinate and direct engineering projects for mobile units and events.
  • Supervise Mobile Unit Engineers in the repair and maintenance of mobile unit operations.
  • Develop strategies and plans for the Mobile Engineering related to client events.
  • Develop operational efficiencies, cost control strategies, and flexibility for client responsiveness.
  • Pursue and secure the development of new technologies by manufacturers and vendors working with Engineering team. 
  • Manage and monitor the mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events when needed.
  • Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.  
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status. 
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.
  • Ensure the smooth workflow of the maintenance group as it relates to the needs of mobile unit operations.
  • Provide technical reports to appropriate departments to ensure equipment needs/issues are met and resolved.
  • Coordinate equipment needs by working closely with Operations and Field Shop(s).
  • Maintain and file the proper expense or other required reports on a designated basis.
  • Work on mobile units in the shop for maintenance, upgrades, etc. as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Technical or B.S./Electronics field or Engineering preferred, however various combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience working in television production technology with progressive managerial responsibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology, equipment, facilities and production for major commercial and cable television networks.
  • Supervisory experience required; including project coordination, sales support and other related activity.
  • Must be able to interface and communicate well with both clients and staff.  
  • Ability to interface with clients and provide a high level of service and support.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to details and the ability to multi-task in high pressure situations.
  • Must be willing and able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs., and willing to seek assistance for anything over 50 lbs. (should not seek to do over 50 lbs. without assistance).

The purpose of this position is to serve as liaison and principal technical lead between the sales team and the engineering/operations teams. Specifically monitoring project requirements on a hardware and staffing level, the Project Engineer will have familiarity with LMG fleet capabilities for all mobile units, flypacks and available inventory for each and every project on the LMG calendar. Communication of day to day changes for scheduled events between the teams is the responsibility of the Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will work to create and update accurate pack lists for each event and manage equipment rentals when needed for events to ensure all technical requirements are in place prior to specific events.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with the EVP and VP Engineering and Operations, to review technical requirements needed for events when bids are being constructed.
  • Once an event is sold/firmed, manages the equipment/technical requirements and staffing levels required for each event working directly with staff and clients.
  • Work with the sales representatives to assist in designing special or unusual shows in which the client needs extra technical design assistance.
  • Act as the principal technical bridge, problem solver and coordinating resource between truck engineers, client and sales manager for events, managing the events once they are confirmed.
  • Assist with the accuracy of event pack lists and crew assignments for mobile television units and fly packs used for remote TV events
  • Assist with tracking technical project details on show sheets and within File Maker Pro
  • Supervise rental of additionally required equipment beyond LMG inventory
  • Meet regularly with the VP of Engineering and Operations to review projects and ensure that budgetary targets are met, costs are reduced, human capital is used to full efficiency and there is a continual increase in client satisfaction.
  • Communicate changes to schedules and job requirements to staff in a consistent manner.
  • Supervise invoice adjustments as they pertain to onsite changes such as shipping, overtime, or damages
  • Review EIC reports from each show, addressing mistakes or omissions for reference on future similar shows and work with
  • Engineering and Repairs to ensure repairs are in order and completed in a timely manner so that equipment is repaired efficiently and cost effectively for proper utilization.
  • Review missing and damaged reports post-show for billing and replacement purposes
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and conference calls
    As needed, travel to events as necessary or required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Production, Business or related field desired, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with various software programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, FileMaker Pro, Quickbooks or similar types of software systems.
  • Knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, facilities, and production for commercial and cable TV networks desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills in professional communication and an ability to interact with a wide range of individuals.
  • Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Although minimal, candidate should be willing and able to travel if required.

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to perform the normal maintenance activities required for a mobile unit to meet client requirements; drive the mobile unit to event locations and to perform uplink tasks if required up to LMG standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive mobile unit to event location(s) as directed by the Operations Coordinators within Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA)/DOT regulations. 
  • Set up, strike, and load the mobile unit in cooperation with Engineers and Technicians.
  • Manage and monitor the mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events working with the Engineer in Charge.
  • Manage and monitor the mobile unit uplink at remote events when required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shooting while executing changes and engineering and/or uplink updates on the mobile unit
  • Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit and satellite if required.
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit when necessary working with the EIC.
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.
  • Maintain and file the proper expense reports and technical reports on a per show or other designated basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Technical degree in Electronics or Engineering field preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in broadcast engineering or related position, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • At least 1-3 years driving experience preferred.
  • Requires a Class A or Class B CDL License with current FMCSA/DOT Physical Exam Card along with being subject to random drug testing and other required medical exams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, facilities, and production for major commercial and cable television networks.
  • Ability to interface with clients and provide a high level of service and support.

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the mobile unit to the proper location and to operate and maintain the mobile unit up to LMG standards in order to guarantee client satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and fill out inspection reports for mobile unit prior to driving to and from events within Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. 
  • Drive mobile unit to event location(s) as directed by the Operations Coordinator within Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. 
  • Set up, strike, and load the mobile unit in cooperation with Engineers and Technicians.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning activities on the mobile units.
  • Track and report on equipment and maintenance status. Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-site client service support  if applicable.
  • Maintain the tractor and trailer up to FMCSA and state standards to meet inspection criteria.
  • Ensure that all registrations, inspections and other related documents for the mobile unit are current and up to date.
  • Ensure that required Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL), medical exams and any other related certifications as a professional driver are up to date.
  • Represent LMG to clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Communicate regularly with Fleet or Operations Coordinator about service or repairs needed for mobile units.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and trip reports and submit them to the proper individual or entity.
  • Submit expense reports to the appropriate parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree or Driver Training Certification through an accredited CDL driver training program desired.
  • At least 3 years driving experience preferred, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Requires a Class A CDL.
  • Must possess a current FMCSA physical exam card and is subject to federal regulations for random drug testing and any other required medical exams.
  • Demonstrated skills in broadcast engineering and knowledge of television broadcast technology and equipment a plus.
  • Must be reliable and attentive to safety and federal laws.

Purpose: Live Media Group Holdings, LLC is a nationwide leader for the production, encoding/transmission, creative and broadcast of live events of any scale. The purpose of this position is to work with the President to seek new business opportunities, enhance current business relationships, support sales teams across all divisions, and work with other appropriate staff to assist with communications/marketing efforts.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the Division President and leadership team to formulate strategies to enhance client relations with core clients and gain additional share from these accounts.
  • Seek out new business opportunities by assessing market and identifying potential clients within the entertainment, corporate and other industries to increase TNDV and LMGH’s market share and drive increased asset utilization of all mobile units.
  • Manage current sales and business relationships to increase the services and service levels provided to current clients.
  • Streamline sales throughout LMGH, LLC by “cross-selling” the services of all LMGH’s divisions to current clients and work closely with all sales personnel to coordinate the closing of all activity.
  • Create and manage quotes and proposals for potential upcoming events using the LMGH bid software. Continually update each quote as event parameters change.
  • Revise and update standard LMGH contracts, Statement of Work (SOW), etc. as needed. Develop and implement appropriate documents as required and manage to these contracts ensuring billing is correct according to the contract language.
  • Maintain good knowledge of LMGH fleet equipment rates and industry standard rates for labor in various markets to continually produce
  • accurate quoted costs on job proposals. Work with internal costs when pricing events to verify appropriate revenue margin goals are hit.
  • Schedule facilities working with Chief Engineers and Operations based on client needs and input from Scheduling, Operations, and Engineering to ensure needs are met. Communicate scheduling decisions to clients as needed.
  • Work with President and Chief Engineers to determine workflow required by clients, equipment complement and schedule technical calls with clients as necessary or required.
  • Manage all client contact including work orders, communication of changes, add-ons, etc. and communicate all changes to Engineering and Operations.
  • Work with Finance on the collection of invoices in a timely fashion from clients particularly those that are past due.
  • Increase brand awareness within industry, focusing on new clients and markets.
  • Maintain weekly contact with sales team, update sales activity reporting, and participate in weekly sales meetings/conference calls.
  • Gain feedback from clients during meetings, use feedback gained from customer surveys, maintain Key Account Plans, and participate in quarterly Key Account Strategy Meetings with Sr. Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations preferred, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  •  5-8 years of experience in a sales and marketing.
  •  Experience within the broadcast industry a plus.
  •  Self-driven, motivated and results oriented and the ability to work with sales team/organization.
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  •  Excellent communication skills, attention to details and the ability to multi-task in high pressure situations.
